Terms of Service

Lumina Pass Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the conditions of use for the services ("Services") provided by Lumina Pass ("the Site"). Users agree to use the Services upon agreeing to these Terms.

Article 1 (Application)

These Terms apply to all relationships involving the use of the Services between the user and the Site.

Article 2 (User Registration and Account Management)

Account registration is required to use some features of the Services. The registration is completed when an applicant applies using the method specified by the Site (such as Google Login) and the Site approves it.

The user shall manage their account information appropriately at their own risk.

Article 3 (Changes to Terms)

The Site may change these Terms at any time without notifying users if deemed necessary.

If you start using the Services after a modification to these Terms, you will be deemed to have agreed to the modified Terms. We will make efforts to notify users in advance of changes that have a significant impact by posting them on the site.

Article 4 (Paid Service "Pro Plan" & Subscriptions)

Article 5 (Published Information and External Links)

The information published on the Site, such as contest overviews, is intended for aggregation purposes, and we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or freshness. Please always check the official website of each contest organizer for the latest information.

The Site bears no responsibility for any trouble or damage occurring on external websites linked from the Site.

Article 6 (Integration with External Services)

If a user uses the Services by linking an external service like a Google account, the user must comply with the terms of use of the external service in addition to these Terms.

The Site is not responsible even if some or all of the Services become unavailable due to specification changes or defects in external services.

Article 7 (Prohibited Acts)

Users are prohibited from engaging in the following acts when using the Services:

Article 8 (Service Suspension & Account Restriction)

The Site may stop all or part of the Services without prior notice in the event of system maintenance, natural disasters, or if deemed necessary for operational reasons.

If a user violates these Terms, the Site may delete the data or suspend the account without prior notice.

Article 9 (Intellectual Property Rights and User Content)

Copyrights for the information published on the Services (contest overviews, analysis data, unique UI designs, etc.) belong to the Site or the respective right holders.

The user continues to own the copyright to the data uploaded by them (activity logs, memos, images, etc.). However, the Site may use this globally and without royalty to the extent necessary to provide, improve, and maintain the Services.

The user shall not exercise moral rights against the Site or those who have succeeded or received permission from the Site.

Article 10 (Limitation of Liability)

The Site makes no warranties that the Services are free of factual or legal defects (including flaws in safety, reliability, accuracy, effectiveness, security, errors, right infringement, etc.).

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Site assumes no responsibility for any damages incurred by the user due to the Services. Under no circumstances will our liability exceed the amount of usage fees you have paid to us in the month the damage occurred (excluding cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct).

Article 11 (Changes or Termination of Service)

The Site may change the content of the Services without notifying users.

If the Site terminates the Services, we will, as a rule, notify via on-site notifications at least 1 month in advance, except in emergencies. We assume no liability for damages caused by the end of service, and we do not offer refunds even if canceled mid-subscription.

Article 12 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

The interpretation of these Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan.

In the event of a dispute relating to the Services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the Tokyo District Court in Japan.
